"Now is Where You Are"
by Laura Casale

Now is where you are come out and see

Now is where you are come out and BE

Now is where you are come out and see

Break away and breathe eternity!

Light is breaking through the night

It's quite a sight

Coming to release the day

But it won't stay

Everything will pass on by

you'll see the signs

Falling leaves show me how to see

The shedding of the old brings new life to every seed!

Dwelling on the past we think – regret

And slowly down we sink – and in a blink

Living in the future field – our minds do yield

Falling tears wash away the fears

Soften up my heart to see

I can be free

Everything will pass on by

As sure as the morning light breaks the sky

But NOW is always here – it never dies!

NOW is where you are come out and see

Break away and breathe eternity

Now is when you begin

Don’t put it off in a distant daydream

Time to go with the flow

Your creator calls you to know

The meaning of your being

Standing by a flowing stream

so pure, so clean

River running high and free

It speaks to me

that everything will pass on by

you'll see the signs

Falling snow, before I know

I will see the day in May when you melt away

Night is falling on my sight

Turn out the light

Now I lay me down to sleep and NOW is so sweet

Hello my fellow lovers of music!

It is very unlikely that you have been fortunate enough to have heard this wonderful song. That is because it was written and performed by friend of mine named Laura Casale. I met her like I meet many of you...through the website and emails. When I found out she was a composer/singer, I asked her to send me some of her music. I was amazed at the pureness of her voice and the depth of her message! Her voice reminds me Amy Grant, but even sweeter! And her message is about the only thing that matters in this world...NOW. Your sins of yesterday don't matter. The good deeds you are going to do tomorrow don't matter. All that matters is how and who you are NOW. Are you at peace now? Are you happy now? Well, as it turns out, I have written on this subject in God Is- Everything Else Isn't. Here is a small excerpt from that writing. I know you will enjoy this beautiful song!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have noticed that many people spend a lot of time either remembering their past or envisioning their future. They spend so much time doing this that life is passing them by right NOW. Some have said that we should “live in the moment,” and I agree. We should not get weighed down by the regrets of the past or be anxious about the uncertainty of the future. Even logically, we can see that those moments are not REAL. What is real about yesterday? Sure you have the effects and memories of yesterday, but the past has vanished into nothingness. We might remember how we wrecked our car last week, but all we have now is the dent. That is the reality of now. In the same way, the future has not happened. It may never be as we imagine it. We can plan, scheme and even pray for what will happen tomorrow, but it is not in our reality now. So being overly concerned about either the past or the future is literally a waste of time. The only time that matters is the moment called NOW.

2 Corinthians 6:1
As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain.
2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, NOW is the time of God's favor, NOW is the day of salvation!"

NOW is the moment of our salvation! Now is the moment and here is the place to find God’s grace and salvation! Salvation wasn’t yesterday, and it isn’t tomorrow. This present moment we are experiencing is the only porthole of “time” that leads to the eternal. There are bridges that connect heaven and earth. We know that Christ is our connection to God; and in the same way, now is our connection to eternity. Our lives are measured in time, which helps to provide us with reference. In the same way our dualistic world of light and darkness gives us a way to compare, contrast and judge for ourselves. We have become the gods of this lower world deciding what is right or wrong. Yet, the natural man is just a mortal god governed by time and the other laws of nature. Time deceives us into believing that we are one day closer to dying, but then we may have a holy moment that tells us we are much more than this!

John 13:31
When he was gone, Jesus said, "NOW is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him.
32 If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once."

Jesus, who lived in the here and now, had it right when he said, “glorify him at once!” Now is the time for God’s Kingdom to come! Jesus clearly tells us where and when to find God- here and now. God is HERE with us and within us. God is available to us right NOW. Many may be planning on meeting with God tomorrow or remembering when they met Him yesterday, but these are no longer based in reality. Now is the only time to be with God! The moment called now is truly the gateway to God’s gifts. If our minds are in the moment that is now, we shall experience God’s gifts through this holy passageway. Now is when we can receive and know God’s grace and peace! Will the peace given to you last year comfort you now? Will the grace that might fill your heart tomorrow help you now? Those who live each moment for God are blessed above all others.
