"Inside the
Bubble"
by Smalltown Poets

flying high with
the crowd at night
we float on unseen fuel
each one sails, a gossamer sphere
our course unwinds like a thread from a spool
(chorus)
"what's it like inside the bubble"
say the souls who'd like to try
cut your tether; come and join me
we can swim across the sky
look at me with
a childlike eye
and understand who's bound
why are those who are on the ground
afraid of falling down?
Love has killed
our fear
and when we're done we'll disappear
draws you out
inside the ring
comes a holy breath of truth
setting free and sealing you
in eternal youth
This lesser known song from a lesser know band is a real a jewel that I found. It's mystical message should resonate in the soul of every truth seeker and should excite every child of God that wants to fly. Many want to leave this world, but what they really want is to be able to fly above the cares and problems of this lower world. This can be done and this is what this songs speaks about- being able to fly spiritually.
ISAIAH 40:31
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They
will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be
faint.
Have you ever had a dream in which you were flying? Isn't that a great feeling! I have had such dreams and believe that these dreams were a sign that my spirit was ready to fly. The feelings of elation, freedom and power that result from floating above the earth are, in fact, a reality of what we can experience in our soul when our spirit is able to fly. As we spiritually mature we are being transformed. Jesus was the first to fly out of this world and he calls to those who are ready, "Cut your tether; come and join me." We are learning how to fly- to become like "birds flying in midair."
REVELATION 19:17
And I saw an angel standing in the
sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair,
"Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that
you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of
horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and
slave, small and great."
And this is how the lower world is transformed into the Kingdom of God. The carnal nature of mankind is being devoured by the spirit of the mature- those who are able to fly. Unfortunately, religion can have a grounding affect on the children of God. Just as the song says, "Why are those who are on the ground afraid of falling down?" Many are led by fear, not Love. Love is what will take us higher by killing our fear. Many just cannot yet accept that they are birds of the air (spirit) and not creatures of the ground (natural). Yet take heart because Love never fails. God's love is drawing every child up into the clouds to be with and in His Son. When this transformation is complete the old "you" will disappear and then Christ will be "setting free and sealing you in eternal youth."
Peace,
